“Real Housewives” Plastic Surgery Secrets
Many women who decide to undergo plastic surgery turn to their favorite celebrities for the trendiest and most popular looks. Lately, plastic surgeons have been bombarded with requests by women who would like to have Kate Middleton’s regal nose, while a few months ago, her sister Pippa’s derriere was at the top of everyone’s cosmetic list.
Throughout the years, women like Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez and Angelina Jolie have all been inspirational on-screen and in the operating room. Here at Body Sculptor in Chicago, IL, we have seen many different requests by patients who want to resemble their favorite stars, from getting a breast augmentation to a Brazilian Butt Lift procedure to reshaping their nose with Rhinoplasty.
Chicago plastic surgeon Dr. Otto Placik has performed hundreds of successful surgeries on patients who have a particular aesthetic look they would like to achieve, as well as on patients who would just like to improve upon their natural features in a more minimal way.
Hollywood stars have also undergone their fair share of cosmetic treatments, though not many are keen on admitting it. Many stars would like their fans and the media to think their gorgeous looks, spectacular skin and trim physique are all qualities they were born with, but the reality is that many of the figures we see on TV are the result of a talented plastic surgeon.
Although not all Hollywood personalities like to dish out their plastic surgery secrets, one group of Reality TV starlets are giving fans a candid look into the cosmetic treatments they have undergone and how they stay looking young and fabulous.
The stars of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” are giving us a peek into their ‘Real’ – or enhanced – figures, dishing out the juicy details of what cosmetic treatments they’ve undergone and their unrelenting thirst for more.
These women are no strangers to plastic surgery, and as they admit, they probably never will be.
“Every day I look in the mirror and think, ‘Wow! I look a lot older than six months ago,’ ” admitted Kyle Richards, 44, on the RHOBH reunion special March 25. “I’m never happy 100% [with my looks]. I’m always criticizing myself.”
The brunette may be striking, but much of it has to do with the talents of her plastic surgeon. Richards admitted to having Rhinoplasty a few years ago and liposuction last year to minimize her love handles.
Yet, the Housewives insist they don’t undergo as much plastic surgery as most people might think, claiming they primarily stick to minor cosmetic enhancement treatments such as Botox and facial fillers.
“None of this group have [gotten major plastic surgery],” explained Lisa Vanderpump, 52, who has never undergone facial plastic surgery, but is a fan of Botox and other cosmetic injections.
Lisa attributes her toned physique to good old fashioned diet and exercise, saying she follows a low-carb diet.
However, Brandi Glanville, 40, interjected her co-star, saying Adrienne Maloof is an exception to the group.
“What hasn’t she had done?” joked Glanville of the many plastic surgery treatments Maloof has undergone.
Glanville added that the cast that has gotten the most plastic surgery are the girls of “Real Housewives of Orange County.”
“I think they’re all doing everything: lips, nose, eyes, and taking breast implants out and putting them back in,” said Glanville, who has breast implants herself and underwent vaginal rejuvenation surgery. “I recently met some of those girls [from the OC] and it looks like they’re a bit overdone.”
While plastic surgery can help individuals look and feel their best, there is a point where too much surgery can become damaging to a patient’s health. As an experienced Chicago plastic surgeon, Dr. Otto Placik always makes the health of his patients the top priority and never performs a treatment that might pose a health risk.
It is important to have realistic expectations of plastic surgery and understand that while resembling your favorite celebrity might be your goal, the most optimal results arise from working with the patient’s natural features to enhance their beauty.
