I had my first augmentation surgery in 2003. I am a very small-framed person standing five feet tall, 95 lbs and a bra size of 32 A. I had already made the decision prior to seeing Dr. Placik that I wanted to become a size D. Through his genuine concern for my happiness, Dr. Placik informed me that it was not going to be possible because of my small frame and that in the long term I would not be happy with the results. So, I trusted his opinion and went through with the surgery. My option was to go with saline implants filled to 325 cc’s under the muscle and through the areola. My whole experience the first time was so pleasant. I was very happy with the results and after the swelling went down my final size was a 34 B. About three years later the FDA approved silicone gel implants and I had made the decision again to make an appointment with Dr. Placik. I had another consultation with Dr. Placik and I had decided to replace my current implants with silicone implants, and I also could go larger the second time around. Now I have finally achieved the size I wanted 34 D, utilizing 500 cc high profile silicone implants under the muscle through the areola, and now I am completely satisfied and ecstatic about the results of my breast augmentation.
