One reason NOT to have liposuction is to lose weight. Let’s get that out of the way right now. First use diet and exercise. When you’ve tried that and still have stubborn areas that won’t slim down, that’s the time to consider having liposuction.

How Long do Results Last?
The body does not regenerate fat cells once they are removed. So your treated area(s) will not regain the weight by simply regrowing the cells. But if you were to abandon your new healthy lifestyle and diet, neighboring fat cells could expand, holding the excess fat. And other body areas could gain weight.

For that reason, it’s best to do more than just lose the weight and then have liposuction. Go further in your self-transformation, and stick to a nutritious and low-fat diet, and regular exercise.
